This is the first plenary meeting of a project to develop a Trustworthy AI Assessment Tool for Public Services, Health and HR. In July 2020, the European Commission’s High-Level Expert Group on AI published the “Trustworthy AI Assessment List” as part of its Ethics Guidelines. Based on its members’ feedback, AI4Belgium decided to optimize this list and make it more concrete, domain-specific and practical for use in the Belgian context, so that Belgian organizations can enhance their AI systems’ trustworthiness.
The list will be integrated in a practical online tool that organizations active in AI can use. As a first step the tool will be tailored to 3 domains: Public services, Health and HR. By participating in this meeting you will join the discussion that will focus on three questions: 1) How can the Assessment Tool be of most value to you? 2) Where do you see the main pitfalls? 3) How do you see it working in practice?
